Why Hesperos

What makes a quiet kind of support worth choosing

There are many ways to get information. Hesperos is specifically for families who want that information delivered calmly, at their own pace, with something to take home at the end.

Six things families value most about working with us

No pressure, no deadlines

Sessions move at the family's pace. Nobody is pushed to reach a conclusion before they are ready.

Printed take-aways every time

Every session produces a document — a guide, checklist, or briefing sheet — that the family keeps.

Honest scope, always

We state clearly what we are and what we are not. Legal, financial, and health questions go to qualified practitioners.

Whole household welcome

Individuals, couples, adult children, extended family — whoever needs to be present can be.

Bilingual-friendly setting

English-delivered with accommodation for mixed-language households — important in Chiang Mai's international community.

Referrals without commission

When we point families to lawyers or advisors, we receive nothing from those practitioners. The referral is genuinely in your interest.

Expertise

A team shaped by facilitation, not by sales

The Hesperos team comes from adult education and community facilitation backgrounds, not from financial services or legal practice. That distinction matters: our training is in how to help people talk, listen, and organize — not in how to close a decision. Since 2019, the team has worked with over 400 households across Northern Thailand.

  • Over six years' active practice in Chiang Mai
  • Facilitators with backgrounds in adult learning and community work
  • Regularly updated training in family communication frameworks

"We don't push. We map."

Facilitating a family session is different from consulting. We help people identify what they want to say and find a kind way to say it. The decision about what comes next remains entirely with the family.

Our process approach

  • A pre-session intake call to understand the household's situation
  • Clear agenda shared before the session so nobody arrives unprepared
  • Session notes compiled into a printed take-away document
  • Follow-up referral list provided where relevant
Process

A structured format, a calm experience

Every service at Hesperos follows a deliberate process — intake, preparation, session, document, referral where needed. The structure exists so that families do not have to hold everything in their heads at once. The process carries them through; the pace is theirs.

Service Quality

Attentive, responsive, and never rushed

Families often contact us during sensitive periods. We respond to enquiries within one working day and take the time to understand the household's situation before recommending a specific session or package. After a session, we follow up if anything was left unresolved.

  • Enquiry response within one working day
  • Session design based on the household's specific situation
  • Post-session follow-up available on request

What Sets Us Apart

The details that matter to families

The Conversation Map format

Our Conversation Mapping approach was developed specifically for family settings rather than workplace or therapeutic contexts. It helps individuals identify their own talking points and think through timing and tone — without a facilitator telling them what to feel or decide.

Workshop checklists built for Thai households

The Paperwork Sorting checklist was developed over two years of workshops and reflects the actual documents Thai and international households commonly hold — Tabien Baan, insurance policies, property documents, and more — with plain explanations of each.

The Family Briefing Sheet

The Family Arrangements Package concludes with a written briefing sheet — a clear, jargon-free summary that every household member receives a copy of. It is not a legal document; it is a shared reference that reduces the chance of misunderstanding later.

A referral network built over six years

Over the years we have built a network of Chiang Mai-based lawyers, financial planners, notaries, and healthcare practitioners who are accustomed to receiving referrals from Hesperos. Families who need those services get a warm introduction rather than a cold search.
