Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 12 May 2025 · Hesperos, Chiang Mai, Thailand
This page explains what cookies are, how we use them on the Hesperos website, and how you can manage your preferences. We keep things simple — we only use cookies where they genuinely help us serve you better.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have already seen a notice — so the page can work more smoothly on your next visit.
Cookies do not carry personal data by themselves and they cannot run programmes or deliver viruses. They are simply a way for the website to hold a small note on your behalf.
2. The Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They store your cookie preference so we do not show the notice on every visit. They cannot be switched off as the site would not work properly without them.
Duration: Session or up to 12 months · Type: First-party
Analytics Cookies
Optional
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed most often. The information is collected in a way that does not directly identify anyone. We use this to improve the site.
Duration: Up to 24 months · Provider: Google Analytics
Marketing Cookies
Optional
These cookies may be placed by services we use to understand how people find our website. They help us see whether our information is reaching families who may benefit from it. You can turn these off without affecting the site.
Duration: Up to 12 months · Type: Third-party
Preference Cookies
Optional
These cookies remember settings you have chosen — such as how you have interacted with our page layout — so you do not have to set them again next time you visit.
Duration: Up to 12 months · Type: First-party
3. Your Cookie Preferences
You can choose which optional cookies you are comfortable with. Your choices are saved to this browser. Essential cookies are always active and cannot be switched off.

4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — these are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used only to keep things working during a single visit.
- Persistent cookies — these remain on your device for a set period (typically 12–24 months) or until you delete them manually. They are used to remember your preferences between visits.
You can delete cookies at any time using your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers are in Section 6 below.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use a small number of third-party services that set cookies of their own. These include:
- Google Analytics — helps us understand site traffic in aggregate form. Their Privacy Policy applies to data they collect.
- Google Maps — used on our contact page to display our location. Google may set cookies when you interact with the map.
We choose third-party services carefully and review them periodically. We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.
